The Telangana state government is preparing to vaccinate everyone in the state in the wake of heading the third wave of coronavirus.The Telangana state government has decided to vaccinate the people in the state within 15 days.
Recently, the state government issued guidelines to the authorities regarding this.The medical health department said it was conducting a special vaccination drive from today to vaccinate all the people in the state.
The state has decided to complete both doses for all those eligible by December.The vaccination drive started on January 16 this year.
Currently, two crore vaccine doses were administered in the state.One crore vaccine doses were administered in 165 days.
The record of 2 crore vaccine doses was reached in 78 days.The first dose was given to 52 per cent of eligible people in the state.
Chief Secretary of the Telangana State Government, Somesh Kumar, said that due to the efforts of the state medical health department and GHMC officials, two crore people have been vaccinated in the state.Also, he said that almost everyone at GHMC was vaccinated with the first dose.
