The TRS party has been raising concerns inside and outside Parliament over farmer issues.
The feud between the central and state governments over the purchase of grain, especially in Telangana, continues.
In this context, TRS MPs today walked out of both houses in protest of the central governments stubborn attitude towards Telangana farmers.The TRS MPs continued their agitation in both the houses during the winter session of Parliament today as well.
The TRS MPs seized the Speaker of the Lok Sabha podium and displayed placards with slogans calling for the protection of the Telangana farmers.The MPs demanded that the central government should make a clear statement on the grains procurement issue from Telangana farmers.
Finally, the TRS MPs announced that they were walking out from both the Houses of Parliament as there was no response from the central government in Parliament.As a result, TRS MPs, who had been fighting for grain procurement for the Telangana farmers, got frustrated with the union governments attitude and walked out of Parliament.
However, it remains to be seen how the union govt is going to respond to this act of the TRS MPs.
