TRS govt released Rs 1,432 crores under MNREGA

Telangana State Panchayati Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao said that under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, Rs 1,432 crore had been released.

Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao thanked CM KCR for allocating funds for the employment of labourers in villages in the current dire situations of the corona.

Under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, the state has set a target of thirteen crore working days(no.of labourers) in the current financial year.

He said that nine crore working days have already been provided.The minister said that while 17 lakh 50 thousand workers were working for this season, last season, 35 lakh 50 thousand workers employed under this scheme.

Telangana State Panchayati Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao clarified that employment guarantee works are going on with Corona regulations in 540 zones in 32 districts of the state.Also, the minister asked the workers to attend to work abiding by the corona rules.

He asked the workers to wear masks, sanitize hands frequently and maintain social distancing while going home.On the other hand, CM KCR is extensively touring the districts in Telangana.Also, he is inaugurating various projects.
