TPL 2021-22: Sania Mirza to support Bengaluru Spartans

Bengaluru, Nov 29, : Six-time Grand Slam champion Sania Mirza has joined the Tennis Premier League Season 3 ("TPL") where she will be supporting Bengaluru Spartans.

Sania stated in a video message that she was very happy to be associated Tennis Premier League and that her team Bengaluru Spartans will have my full support and guidance.The leagues unique 20-point format, and the way they have made tennis a team sport, is what attracted me to it "I am always happy building, promoting and strengthening tennis as a sport within our country because it is the need for the hour.

She said that tennis has been my everything and that TPL was a great opportunity for her to give back to the sport, and all the budding players in our country.TPL will also have Bengaluru Spartans, Pune Jaguars and Delhi Binnys Brigade as well as Gujarat Panthers, Mumbai Leon Army (Mumbai), Chennai Stallions, Rajasthan Tigers and Finecab Hyderabad Strikers.

This season of TPL is a great mix of international and national players, including Prajnesh Gunneswaran and Ramkumar Ramanathan, Yuki Bahambri, and many others.Kapil Zaveri, Bengaluru Spartans owner, welcomed the Indian tennis ace to his team.
