Terrorists have recently infiltrated a government school in Kashmir Valley and brutally shot dead its principal and teacher.The latest incident comes less than 48 hours after three civilians were killed in separate incidents.
In the last five days, seven civilians have been shot dead by terrorists in Kashmir.
Terrorists stormed the Sangam Idgah government school in the Srinagar suburb at around 11.15 am on Thursday.They have opened fire on School principal Supundar Kaur and teacher Deepak Chand.
The seriously injured principal and teacher were rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed that they were already dead.The students were horrified by the incident.
Police and security personnel conducted a cordon search in the area after the incident.One of the dead, Deepak Chand was a Kashmiri Pandit.
Commenting on the incident, Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh said, “Attacks are being carried out targeting civilians in Kashmir.Through these, the terrorists are trying to spread fear among the Kashmiri people.
It is expected to undermine brotherhood that transcends religions.The attacks are being carried out by the Pakistani militants.We take this seriously.We will definitely defeat the terrorists.”
