Telangana : BRS leaders oppose sitting MLA in Ramagundam

Korakanti Chander Patel, the sitting BRS MLA, is facing the heat from BRS leaders in Ramagundam, Peddapalli district.As many as five key party leaders attended a meeting opposing MLA Chander Patels MLA candidature and openly stated to the party leadership that they would not support him if the party gave him a ticket in the upcoming Assembly elections from the Ramagundam segment.

The BRS leaders K.Sandhya Rani, M.Raji Reddy, P.Yellaiah, K.Lakshmi Narayana, and B.Manohar Reddy assembled a team and held meetings in different colonies in support of the BRS opposing the candidature of MLA Chander Patel under the banner of Praja Ashirwada Yatra.During a meeting with Singareni workers in Godavarikhani town, the BRS leaders claimed that MLA Chander Patel and his followers are facing several serious allegations, including recruitment fraud in Ramagundam Fertiliser Company Limited (RFCL) and a youth who committed suicide after being unable to find work despite giving money to his followers who promised him a job, as well as allegations of recruitment of contract employees in the newly established RFCL.
