Hyderabad, Aug 22 : Calling Union Home Minister Amit Shah his guru, Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Monday defended carrying his footwear during a programme here.
He took aim at TRS as well as Congress members for calling his actions "slavery".The BJP leader took to Twitter to defend his decision following the leadership of TRS as well as Congress took to Twitter to mock him.The video clips of Sanjay carrying the footwear of Amit Shah on his way to the temple in Secunderabad became viral.The MP took Shahs shoes, and set them away until the home minister of the union was at Ujjaini Mahankali temple.
When Shah left of the temple following prayers, Sanjay was once again found rushing to grab his shoes.Sanjay stated that since Amit Shah is "our familys older and guru, and Im younger than him, I was able to wear his shoes.
The BJP leader took a sharp stance on the criticisms from TRS and claimed that the family of Chief Minister KCR has a habit of touching their feet when necessary and then taking the rug off underneath the same foot.The previous day, the officials of TRS as well as the Congress party have branded Sanjay as aslave of Delhi and Gujarat leaders and demanded that they protect the self-esteem of Telangana.TRS working president K.T.Rama Rao tweeted that people of Telangana are watching Gujarati slaves that wear Delhi shoes, and also the leader fighting with the Delhi leadership. Rama Rao, who is a state minister and the son of the Chief Minister KCR said that all segments of Telangana society are prepared to defy those who have disrespected Telangana self-esteem and to defend Telanganas self-esteem.ms/pgh .
