New Delhi, Aug 15 : Samsung foldable Galaxy Flip4 will cost around 90000 in India as well as the Galaxy Fold4 will be priced at Rs 1.55 lakh in the country, industry sources told us on Monday. Sources informed IANS that the price increase this year, in comparison to the previous year’s models that fold is due to the rupee-dollar fluctuation in the currency and global market forces.
However, the most significant impact of the fluctuation in currency is being absorbed by Samsung to offer the most favorable price to Indian customers, industry sources said.
In the year 2000, Galaxy Flip 3 5G (8+128GB) was launched at Rs 84,999 .Galaxy Fold3 5G (12+256GB) at Rs 149,999.
The new foldables are scheduled to be launched in India on the 16th of August and customers can pre-book their devices through its website through an event that will be live from 12 noon.
Consumers who book Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 through a live commerce events can enjoy benefits that amount to Rs 40,000, the company had stated in an earlier announcement.
Additionally, customers will receive a free gift worth Rs 5,199 upon booking their tickets in advance.
“As part of the live commerce, the exclusive Bespoke Edition of Galaxy Z Flip4 and the 1TB storage version of Galaxy Z Fold4 will be accessible via Samsung Live,” said Samsung Live.
The special deals for live trade will be in effect until August 17.
Galaxy Z Flip4 comes in Bora Purple, Graphite, Pink Gold and Blue finishes.Galaxy Z Fold4 in Graygreen, Beige and Phantom Black and Phantom Black, along with Burgundy colours.
