Republic Day treat for Vikram fans: Thangalaan to release on January 26, Teaser on November 1

Thangalaan is an upcoming period film starring Vikram, Parvathy, and Malavika Mohanan in the lead roles.

The film is directed by Pa Ranjith and co-written by Tamil Praba.

The film is based on a true story of the Kolar Gold Fields during the British colonial era in India.The film has been produced by Studio Green and Neelam Productions.

The makers have now announced that the film will release on January 26, 2024, coinciding with the Republic Day of India.The film will be available in five languages: Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.The first look poster of the film was unveiled on October 27, 2023, along with the announcement of the release date and the teaser date.

The teaser of the film will be released on November 1, 2023.Vikram is one of the most versatile actors in the South Indian film industry.

He was last seen in Mani Ratnams epic historical drama Ponniyin Selvan, where he played the role of Karikala Cholan.Thangalaan is expected to be another landmark film in his career.
