Remove TRS ads from Metro Rail: Congress

Telangana Congress seeks SEC intervene to remove TRS Ads on Metro rail and bus shelters.

As the final count down for GHMC Elections is nearing, all the parties are leaving no stone unturned to triumph over the polls.

Most importantly, the TRS government has filled almost all bus shelters and metro rails with pink posters to gain more focus from the people of the city.Consequently, Telangana Congress urged the SEC to remove those ads as the strategy is against the EC code of conduct.Telangana Pradesh Congressional Committee (TPCC) Chairman N.Uttam Kumar Reddy has urged the State Election Commissioner C.Parthasarthi to remove all the TRS party ads from Hyderabad metro pillars, on bus shelters, public toilets and at other places.He submitted a memorandum calling for the immediate action as the government is wasting state-fund for the GHMC campaign.

After submitting the memorandum, the TPCC chairman said TRS, BJP, and MIM are applying the same strategy used in Bihar elections.Like MIM helped the BJP come to power in the Bihar Assembly elections, TRS, BJP and MIM are working together to polarize voters on religious grounds in Hyderabad.

He asked the people not to fall for such strategies and vote for Congress.
