Rekha’s Real Slap Unleashed My Emotions: Hrithik Recalls ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the movie "Koi… Mil Gaya" is being remembered by its star, Hrithik Roshan, and his filmmaker father, Rakesh Roshan.

The film was special for its unique concept in Bollywood.

Hrithik shared a story about a challenging scene with co-star Rekha.He recalled mistakenly preparing for the wrong scene that day.It was the scene where Rekhas character slaps Hrithiks character, questioning why hes not normal due to a flashback.Hrithik arrived on set and realized the mix-up, feeling numb and anxious.

He spent 45 minutes in his car, unable to move, trying to gather the courage to proceed.He knew his father wouldnt cancel the shoot and had to find a way to get through it.Hrithik played a song to regain his characters posture and emotions.Rakesh explained the scenes importance as a turning point in the film, where the alien character Jaadu decides to help Rohit, Hrithiks character.

Hrithik mentioned that he appreciated Rekhas commitment to the scene; she slapped him for real, bringing out the required emotions.
