Beyond the expectations, Cyclone Nivar has started its destruction right from the beginning itself.According to the reports, one from Andhra Pradesh and three from Tamil Nadu have lost their lives due to the cyclone conditions.Half of the Andhra Pradesh has lost its normalcy with the heavy to severe rainfall ranging from 6 cm to 30 cm.

According to the NDRF officials, the rescue team has saved two people from a reservoir in Chittoor district.Of all the areas, the cyclone has hit the Nellore district worst with a rainfall of 30 cm.Reportedly, the officials have shifted at least 3,363 people from different vulnerable places to 115 relief camps.

The State Disaster Management Authority said above 177 places of Nellore, Chittoor, Kadapa, Krishna, Prakasam and East Godavari districts, received heavy to severe rainfall and Anantapuramu, Kurnool, Guntur and West Godavari districts received moderate to heavy rains.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has got through the situation with top officials and directed the respective district Collectors to be on high alert and help the needy.
