New way of dealing with AP theatres; Is this the idea of YS Bharathi Reddy?

The YCP government recently took a crucial decision regarding the license for movie theatres in Andhra Pradesh.

The theatres which were closed recently will be reopened.

Their license renewal period has also been extended.The Andhra Pradesh state government officials recently conducted inspections on movie theaters in Andhra Pradesh.

The officials closed the theaters that are violating the government regulations.Despite the high ticket prices, the prices of food items in the canteens also increased.

The government has taken various measures against nearly 130 theaters in the latest inspections by revenue and police officials.This includes the imposition of fines as well as the siege of theatres.

Authorities have seized 83 theatres in 9 districts.However, it is also heard that YS Bharathi Reddy suggested extending the deadline for the renewal of theatre licenses after observing the opposition from people for AP govts attitude on movie theatres.

But, there is no official confirmation on this yet.The government had earlier given a three-month deadline for the renewal of theatre licenses in the state.However, many theatres have not renewed their licenses.

With this, the government cracked a whip on those theaters.The government gave them a month to renew their licenses.

Otherwise, the government will take stern action against them.
