Minister KTR files defamation suit against TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy

TRS Working President and Telangana state IT minister KTR has filed a defamation suit against Congress PCC chief and MP Rewanth Reddy in the Telangana high court.

KTR on Monday approached the high court alleging that MP Rewanth Reddy was spreading false propaganda against him on social media.

Earlier, KTR had responded to the White Challenge given by Revanth Reddy.The minister directly questioned whether Revanth Reddy was ready for the drugs test and whether TPCC chief Revanth Reddy and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi were ready for the tests.

KTR has made it clear that if Rahul Gandhi gets ready for the tests, he will come to the Delhi AIIMS and undergo the tests.He said he was not in a position to testify with those who had gone to Charlapalli jail.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, Minister KTR tweeted, "Today I have invoked the legal process & filed a suit for defamation and injunction before the Honble court.I am confident that the Court process will clinchingly vindicate the falsity of the canards & lies spread against me and the culprits will be brought to book appropriately.".
