Lokesh innovative protest over hike in electricity tariff in AP!

TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh has criticized the AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government for imposing an unbearable burden on the poor.

Nara Lokesh held an innovative protest by holding a lantern at the party office in Mangalagiri to protest the hike in electricity tariffs.

Afterwards, speaking to the media there, he expressed his anger that the electricity charges have been increased like never before in the state which has in turn added burden on the poor.He was incensed those charges were being inflated and money was being laundered under various names.

He was incensed that the increase in charges would place a heavy burden on poor, middle-class families.Nara Lokesh reminded that the electricity charges were not increased during the TDP regime.

He urged the party to refrain from partisan activities and focus on the rule of CM Jagan.He said TDP is ready to discuss the hike in electricity tariffs under Chandrababu Naidu’s regime.

He commented that While TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu gave gifts on Sankranti, Ramzan and Christmas there AP CM Jagan’s government has implemented another scheme by increasing electricity charges as a gift for Ugadi.
