Dulquer Salmaan who is the heartthrob of Kerala fans won the hearts of Telugu movie lovers with his debut to Telugu performance in Nag Ashwin’s directorial venture ‘Mahanati’ that is the biopic of the legendary actress Savithri garu where he essayed the role of Gemini Ganesan, her ex-husband.

It was also announced that Dulquer has teamed up with Hanu Raghavapudi of ‘Andala Rakshasi’ and ‘Krishnagadi Prema Gadha’ fame for an upcoming project.

In this film, Dulquer is going to play the role of Lieutenant Ram in the movie which is set up in the backdrop of the 1964 war.This movie is going to be an emotional romantic entertainer and Hanu is very skilled and proficient in directing intense love stories and fans are eagerly waiting to see this on the BIG screens.Now the team has released a Ram Navami occasion poster featuring the hero who is part of the Madras battalion.

Going into details, glimpses of his uniform, stars, and name tag are shown while Dulquer is shown in a silhouette and is playing the character of Ram.The film is yet to be titled and Swapna Cinema, the makers of ‘Mahanati’, will produce this movie.On the Malayalam film side, Dulquer Salmaan is currently working for the movies- ‘Kurup’, ‘Vaan’ and ‘Hey Sinamika’ which are in different stages of shooting and productions but all will be halted due to the surge in cases yet again.
