Addressing a huge public meeting in Sircilla, where minister K.T.Rama Rao is the BRS candidate, the Chief Minister warned farmers that if the Congress came to power, its leaders Rahul Gandhi and A Revanth Reddy would abolish Dharani, which he said, would result in robbing farmers their hard-earned rights over their own lands.

The Chief Minister explained that with Dharani, nobody can interfere with a farmer’s right to their land unless they agree to it.He believes the Congress party wants to take this system away.

He praised Dharani, saying it took three years of hard work to create and now it has made land registration much easier.Almost all of the farmers’ land has been secured through this system.

He wants people to be cautious about voting for the Congress party if they care about Dharani.

The Chief Minister mentioned that in the past, Sircilla used to be known for its rice mills and fertile land.

However, during the time of the Congress party’s rule, the mills disappeared and the land suffered.

KCR shared his concern for the weavers in Sircilla and how they were struggling.

He said that since the formation of Telangana, Rama Rao’s initiatives have led to weavers’ welfare and that the government introduced the Bathukamma sari distribution scheme for weavers of the region to live dignified lives.

On the topic of water supply, he highlighted the success of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme, which has contributed to overflowing water in the Upper Manair Dam, even during summer.

He proudly stated that Telangana is the only state in India that supplies power round the clock. He compared this to Gujarat, where even the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, comes from, and mentioned they don’t have continuous power supply.

He criticized the Congress party’s ideas about agriculture and power supply. They suggested only three hours of power was enough, while some from the BJP wanted to install meters on water pumps.

He believes the people should decide whether they want limited or continuous power supply.

Finally, he praised the harmony between different religious communities in Telangana, citing an example of cooperation during Ganesh immersion and Milad-un-Nabi celebrations.

He believes people of different faiths are living together in peace.
