KCR warns MLAs over corruption in Dalit Bandhu

Telangana Chief Minister and BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) on Thursday reportedly warned that he would take stern action against corrupt MLAs including removing them from the party.

He disclosed that he had information about quite a few MLAs indulging in corruption, especially in the implementation of the Dalit Bandhu scheme Speaking to party delegates at the BRS foundation day programme organised at the Telangana Bhavan, KCR is learnt to have said that he has list of some MLAs were taking up to Rs 3 lakh from the beneficiaries of the Dalit Bandhu scheme.

Dalit Bandhu is a prestigious scheme of the State government and there should be no room for corruption in its implementation, the CM said.Under the Dalit Bandhu scheme, the State government gives Rs 10 lakh one-time grant for SCs to start their own business.

Expressing dissatisfaction, KCR has stated that that this is the last warning and that if they repeat such acts, they will be suspended from the party and will not be given tickets.The Chief Minister has also made it clear that the MLAs will be held responsible if their followers indulge in similar practices.

Corruption allegations can be costly for the parties and the BJP is facing the heat.The recent survey predicted that the BJP would lose the elections in Karnataka and the Congress party would come to power in the upcoming elections.

So the BRS party doesnt want to see the same happen with it and might be taking measures to stop this.At the event, KCR also urged the leaders to focus on the unused lands in the villages so that the eligible lands can be given to people.

The CM said that the government would buy the crops.
