Telangana CM asks officials to set up 12 to 15 teams to assess the damage due to floods.
A joint secretary of the Union Home Ministry has been leading the team, and a report will be produced later to the Centre, summing up the dame caused in Telangana due to the floods.Following the circumstances, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has also asked the officials to be on high alert.
He asked to make sure tanks and lakes in Hyderabad city do not breach further, as the Met department disclosed the chances of more heavy rains in coming days.After examining the rescue efforts, CM KCR has reportedly ordered to form 12 to 15 teams to assess the situation.
He said the team must be responsible for the time-to-time examination of the tanks and taking necessary measures to prevent any further loss.On Chief Minister’s orders, at least 12 special teams of water Resources department officials and staff will examine every tank and lake in the city.
