Japan’s SkyDrive Inc brings the dream of flying cars to reality

The prominent flying cars company has successfully tested the project with a person sitting in a car cabin.

Flying above highways on motor cars is a dream for decades.

It seems the dream is super close to reality now as a Japan’s company successfully tested a flying cars project with a man sitting inside a car.Japans SkyDrive Inc has recently carried the test, and the video of it has surfaced on YouTube bringing cheers to the dreamers.In the video, a drone-like motorcycle with propellers was lifted off the ground by a person for four minutes.

However, the project experts say it could fly for just 5 to 10 minutes for now, and it takes more rigorous tests to increase the flying time.The head of the project Tomohiro Fukuzawa said the dream of ‘the flying car’ may come true by 2023 but making it safer is critical.

Till now there are 100s of projects for flying cars but only a few are in success mode.The project is funded by top Japanese companies like Toyota Motor Corp, Panasonic Corp, and Bandai Namco.
