By Vinod MiranThe film industry has had this thing about attracting a lot of relatives as in cousins, bros-in-law as well as distant family members after one of them enters the industry and manages to make something of himself.

Film industry has a way of attracting many relatives.

This includes cousins, brothers-in-law and distant family members.This has been so especially of those who come from Punjab and attain stardom.

This is especially true for those who hail from Punjab and achieve stardom.The families of actors like Raj Kapoor, Rajendra Kumar, Dilip Kumar, B.R.Raj Kapoor and Rajendra Kumar were related to actors such as Dilip Kumar and B.R.Chopra, Dharmendra, Dev Anand, Ashok Kumar, relatives by blood or by marriage, were spread far and wide within the industry.Chopra, Dev Anand and Ashok Kumar were relatives either by blood or marriage.

So much so that you had to be very careful when you criticised the film of one maker, let alone his person in front of another.You had to be careful about critiquing the films of other filmmakers, or his person in front.

For all you know, you may have just invited an argument or, worse still, a fight!.You may just have invited an argument, or worse, a fight.

That was an era when one successful film personality attracted a horde of relatives and friends to follow him.This was an era in which one film star attracted many friends and relatives to follow him.The Raj Kapoor family is said to be spread the widest.According to some, Raj Kapoors family is the most widely spread.

If you trace the family connections of the Kapoors, you will find it mind-boggling.It is amazing to see the Kapoor family tree.

Between the patriarch, Prithvi Raj Kapoor, and three brothers, Raj, Shammi and Shashi, and their wards, the family was vast enough, but almost all of them have extended it mainly through the film industry.The family consisted of Prithvi Raj Kapoor as patriarch and Shammi, Shammi, and Shashi Kapoor as three brothers and their wards.

Nephew Shekhar Capur is always in the news.As for Rajendra Kumar, from Sunil Dutt to Sanjay Dutt, and the late Ramesh Behl to Shrishti Behl, along with Goldie Behl and Sonali Bendre, actors Kamal Kapoor and Ravi Kapoor, director Kapil Kapoor and filmmaker O.P.Rajendra Kumar was a director, Sunil Dutt to Sanjay dutt and Shrishti to Shrishti behl.Also, Kamal Kapoor (actor) and Kapil Kapoor (filmmaker O.P.Ralhan happened to be relatives and enjoyed a status in films in their own right.Ralhan was a relative and had a prominent place in film history.

Today, the activities of these families are little known.These families activities are not well-known today.

Similar is the case with Manoj Kumar, who tried to make the career of his sons, Kunal Goswami and Vishal, besides that of his brother, Rajiv Goswami.Similar to Manoj Kumar who attempted to make the careers of his two sons, Kunal Goswami, and Vishal Goswami, as well as that of his brother Rajiv Goswami.

Ashok Kumars Ganguly family was spread far and Ashok himself was a superstar in his own right, while brother Kishore Kumar ruled background singing for a long time, besides making films of his own choice.Ashok Kumar was part of the Ganguly family.

Ashok was an actor and a star in his own right.His brother Kishore Kumar was a background singer who made films of his choice as well as singing background songs for many years.

It may sound strange, but not every filmmaker who aspires to launch his son as an actor, ever thinks of launching his daughter into the film trade, let alone an acting career!.Although it may seem strange, not all filmmakers dream of their son becoming an actor.

In fact, almost in all cases, the daughters are kept away from the arc light as well as the limelight!.In most cases, however, the daughters are kept out of the spotlight and the arc.Some film folks prefer that their wards are launched through another friendly house.Some film people prefer their wards to be launched by another friendly house.

Kunal and Karan Kapoor (sons of Shashi Kapoor), Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Mahaakshay Chakraborty are some names that come to mind.There are few in the present generation as well, like Ranbir Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Ahan Shetty, Vicky Kaushalal, all from film families but not launched by their respective families.

Kunal Kapoor and Karan Kapoor (sons from Shashi Kapoor), Sanjay DUTT, Abhishek Chakraborty, Mahaakshay Charkraborty, Mahaakshay Chkraborty, are just a few names that spring to mind.There are not many star sons to launch, but there is new talent entering every day.Although there arent many stars to launch, there is always new talent.So, a lot of aspirants come to try their luck.

Many aspirants are eager to make it big.Also, the field is not limited to only films anymore.The field isnt limited to films any longer.

Since the days of Doordarshan, the field has been getting bigger and wider.The field has grown steadily since the time of Doordarshan.

Numerous serials are being produced for both the television channels and the OTT platforms.Many serials are produced for television and OTT.These new entrants come in pairs, brothers and sisters.These new entrants are often in pairs, as brothers or sisters.
