San Francisco, Sep 6 : Tech giant Apple is all ready to launch its new line of iPhones as well as other products on Wednesday, is expected to unveil the iPhone 14 and the brand new iPhone 14 Max with an upgraded version of the A15 Bionic chipset.
There is an assumption that the regular iPhone 14 models will be equipped with the iPhone 13 Pro’s more expensive A15 chip with five core GPUs that can provide up to 25 percent more graphics performance.

In the regular iPhone 13 models, the A15 chip is equipped with four cores of GPU, as reported by the newspaper WSJ, MacRumors reported.

However the report did not give any additional information on the chip.

The improved graphics performance will likely be the only modification in the A15 chip in the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max which could be announced in the form of iPhone 14 Plus, as it has the same 6-core CPU as well as 16-core Neural Engine in both the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 Pro.

In keeping with the information provided by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in March the report stated that only iPhone 14 Pro models will be upgraded with Apple’s A16 processor, which is the most recent version to improve processing power.

The lineup, for this year, could comprise of the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Apple is likely to discontinue the 5.4-inch iPhone mini this year.

The event is dubbed “Far Out The Sept.7 event will highlight the brand new iPhone 14 lineup, Watches and other items.

It will be a live event on Apple’s Cupertino campus in the US Apple’s first major event after two years of the pandemic.
