Industrialist Aditya Mittal and TRS Minister KTR meet!

State Industries and IT Minister KTR invited steel company ArcelorMittal to set up a steel plant in Bayaram, Telangana.

He said that Bairam was highly favorable for setting up a factory and iron ore reserves were available.

In addition, the state government is providing all kinds of assistance and incentives, KTR said.To this end, Aditya Mittal, CEO of ArcelorMittal Mittal, met Minister KTR at Pragati Bhavan.

He said the government was working hard to set up a steel plant with the aim of creating employment for the local youth as well as utilizing the available resources, steel production and exports.The central government had promised to set up a steel plant under the AP Separation Act.KTR said on the occasion that it had not kept its word.Hence he urged Aditya Mittal to come forward to set up a private sector industry in Telangana.

Under the mega industry status, subsidies will be given like nowhere else in the country.He said the government is under the process of renovating the airport at Mamunur on the National Highway, Warangal district, and has proposed a new airport at Kottagudem.

KTR asked Aditya Mittal, who hails from Hyderabad, to take the initiative to do good for Telangana.Responding positively, Mittal said the proposal would be considered and a special team would be sent to Telangana on behalf of the company.
