Gandhi hospital getting into normal mode

All Non-Covid services in Gandhi Hospital to begin from Saturday.

One of the most prominent hospital for needy, Gandhi Hospital is ready to get into normal mode.

After a hassle of nearly eight months, The State-run Gandhi Hospital is all set to start non-Covid services from Saturday.Ever since the first Covid-19 case had reported in Telangana on March 2, the authorities made the hospital as a ‘Covid-only’ facility.

From then on, only Covid positive patients have been receiving treatment in the hospital.According to the official reports, all the services like outpatient, inpatient, elective and emergency surgeries have scheduled to start from Saturday in Gandhi Hospital.

Keeping in mind about the second wave of Covid-19, the hospital authorities have taken necessary precautions, including the sanitization of inwards and common areas, to make the hospital Covid-free.While speaking to the media, Superintendent of Gandhi Hospital Dr Raja Rao said the management is trying hard to provide a safe and infection-free environment in the hospital.

He assured of the best services for non-Covid patients, although it is hard to carry Covid and non-Covid healthcare services parallelly.He also urged the general public to co-operate by following strict guidelines and Covid-appropriate behaviour.
