New Delhi, 28 December : .Condemning police brutality against protesting doctors in Delhi’s national capital, Chief Minister Arvind Kehriwal wrote on Tuesday to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asking him who will treat Covid-19 patients, if they are made to march on the streets.Kejriwal addressed a letter to the Prime Minister and wrote, “These doctors are the same ones who have protected the nation from Covid-19 over the past one-and a half years.” This is very sad.These doctors now have to walk the streets because their voices aren’t being heard.This will also impact our fight against pandemic.

For the last few days, hundreds of residents from government-run hospitals in Delhi protested the postgraduate National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate).The NEET-PG Counseling is being demanded.
A FIR was filed against the residents doctors who protested for 11 days in order to speed up the counseling of NEETPG 2021 qualifieders.
On Monday, the residents doctors marched in protest towards the Supreme Court.However, the Delhi police stopped them mid-way.
The doctors refused to allow them to carry on their protest march and surrendered their apron to the Delhi police to register their protest.They claimed that they were assaulted and dragged during the march to the highest court.
According to the police, seven officers sustained injuries in the chaos.Two buses also were destroyed at the time, according to police.
IANS: Rohit Meena, Additional DCP (Central District) Rohit Meena said that 12 doctors were taken into custody and later released them.
The resident doctors demanded that Delhi hospital’s medical services be shut down immediately after they were notified by the police.
