Delhi BJP Executive Meets Monday for MCD Polls Discussion

New Delhi : Nov 21, 2011 - The Delhi BJP executive committee will meet Monday to discuss the plans for next years civic elections.

Senior party officials stated that the meeting would be held at the NDMC Convention Centre.The upcoming civic elections will also be discussed.

It will be the first meeting of its kind since the outbreaks of the Covid pandemic.After the five state assembly elections, civic polls will take place in April 2019.

The senior Delhi BJP functionary said that the top Delhi BJP leaders will be discussing strategy for civic elections and the future plans of their party.Many reachout programs are expected to be finalized and discussed in the run-up to the elections.

This will highlight the mismanagement of the Kejriwal government.The meeting will include a political resolution that will challenge the Kejriwal government over air and water pollution, tax policy and poor public transport.

A special exhibition will also be held to showcase activities of Delhi BJP during the past one-and-half years under Covid.The saffron group has been in power since 2007, and faces a fierce challenge from AAP.The saffron party withheld ticket from all sitting councillors to defeat the anti-incumbency in the 2017 municipal elections.However, the BJP still has to determine the criteria for the selection of candidates for the next municipal elections.
