CM Jagan phoned the Union Foreign Minister!

CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has asked Union Foreign Minister Jayasankar to bring back the AP students stranded in Ukraine.

He had earlier telephoned the Union Minister today.

The Union Minister said that the Center was taking all possible measures to repatriate those stranded in Ukraine."We are working hard to repatriate Indians from Ukraine to neighboring countries and bring them back to India by special flights," he said.

Earlier, Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy held a review meeting with top officials on the Ukraine issue.The meeting was held at the camp office in Thadepalli and was attended by CS and CMO officials, advisor Jitesh Sharma, government adviser Sajjala Ramakrishnareddy and others.

The officials briefed the Chief Minister on the steps taken so far at the state level.The CM directed the officers to set up call centers at the level of collectors.

Jagan Mohan Reddy directed to establish communication with everyone in the state in Ukraine, to find out their welfare from time to time and to take appropriate measures for their safety.The CM said that they should provide the necessary information to the central government officials to bring them to the state.

The CM said that any information received from Telugus in Ukraine should be forwarded to the Foreign Ministry officials.He directed the officer to give appropriate assistance from the state to evacuate by special planes if necessary.
