Cluster system to be inaugurated in Koti Women’s College today

Telangana state Higher education authorities have taken an important decision as part of the implementation of a cluster policy designed to enable degree students to study at any college affiliated with the same varsity.

In the first phase, the BA Honors course will be available on a cluster basis.

The BA Honors course on the cluster basis will be available at Koti Womens College and Nizam Colleges under Osmania University for the academic year 2021-22.However, the cluster course will be inaugurated by State Planning Commission Vice President Boinapalli Vinodkumar at Koti Womens College today.

There are three colleges in a cluster.Those who get admission to any one of the colleges are allowed to listen to classes at any of the other two colleges.

While the cluster‌ policy has been implemented in degree colleges, the three colleges will be linked to a varsity.If a student gets admission to any one of the universities, they will have the opportunity to listen to classes in any of the other two universities.

Credits for the respective courses are transferred to the varsity.Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed between the cluster colleges to prevent any problems.
