Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders are closely monitoring the health of former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who is currently in the Rajahmundry Central Jail.They are compiling a detailed record of his health conditions, which may be presented as grounds for seeking bail in court.
Chandrababu Naidu has been grappling with skin infections during his time in jail.In response, the jail authorities have taken steps to address this by providing an air conditioner, following court directives.
Additionally, Naidu is experiencing lower back pain and is dealing with fissures, which have made certain bodily functions uncomfortable.
The former Chief Minister has already undergone a cataract operation for one eye, with a pending surgery for the other.
Jail superintendent Rahul assured that regular medical examinations are being conducted for Naidu, and reports are being promptly shared with higher authorities and Naidu’s wife, Bhuvaneswari.
While Telugu Desam leaders express concern about Naidu’s health, they believe that some aspects may not be fully disclosed by the jail authorities.
Adireddy Srinivas, husband of Telugu Desam leader and Rajamahendravaram Urban MLA Adireddy Bhavani, expressed that party members are genuinely concerned for Naidu’s well-being in prison.They plan to bring these health issues to the attention of the High Court.
It has been noted that Naidu requires specific medical procedures such as proctoscopy, as well as blood renal and liver tests, among other assessments.The TDP leaders are advocating for his proper medical care during his time in custody.
