The CBI court has adjourned the hearing on the counter-petition filed by AP CM Jagan seeking revocation of his bail till June 14.
YCP rebel MP Raghuram Krishnan Raju has filed a petition in the CBI court seeking revocation of Jagans bail.
The 98-page counter was filed by Jagans lawyers in the CBI court. The counter stated that Jagan had nowhere violated the bail conditions given by the court.
Jagans lawyers said that there was no truth in the allegation that the CBI was being influenced by CM Jagan.Prosecutors said Jagan, who is the CM of AP, was unable to attend court as he was involved in various activities.
Prosecutors at the counter said decisions have to be made by the head of government at the time of the disaster. The court, however, exempted Jagan from personal appearance.
Jagans lawyers said that petitioner Raghuram Krishna Raju had nothing to do with the case. They recalled that the Supreme Court had ruled that third parties(RRR) should not interfere in such cases.
He said that Raghurama Krishnamaraju was involved in anti-party activities in AP.Jagans lawyers said in the affidavit that there were several cases in the AP against Raghurama Krishnamaraju.Jagans lawyers objected to the mention of the names of some IAS officers in the petition.
After hearing arguments, the court adjourned the case to June 14.
