Bihar Elections: Nitish Kumar agrees for 122-121 seat-sharing with BJP

Nitish Kumar led JD(U) gets 122 seats and BJP bags 121 seats if they win 243-member Assembly elections in Bihar.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has formed an alliance with BJP on a seat-sharing formula.

According to their association, Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United) will contest in 122 seats, from which, it will allocate seven seats to Jitan Ram Manjhis Hindustani Awam Morcha.And the BJP has been allotted 121 seats, out of which a few will go to Vikassheel Insaan Party.

Addressing a press conference, Nitish Kumar said that there was no development for 15 years in Bihar, and the university teachers not even have their salaries in Congress and the RJD rule.Further, he added, the JD (U) has almost fulfilled its promises given in the previous elections, and now the party is asking votes based on their work that has done.

On the other hand, Bihar BJP president Sanjay Jaiswal said JD(U)-BJP alliance is not only limited for this elections but in future also.Adding solidarity to his statement, BJP leader and Bihar Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi re-iterated that Nitish Kumar will be elected as Chief Minister again irrespective of who wins how many seats query.
