YSRC party ministers and leaders, especially Kodali Nani, have made some derogatory comments on the State Election Commissioner, Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar due to his decision to hold Gram Panchayat Elections in February.
The AP Civil Supplies Minister even compared the SEC with a dog that hit the headlines in AP.
Angry over such behaviour, the AP State Election commissioner is reportedly taking necessary steps to move to the court over the issue.
The SEC sources say Ramesh Kumar has seriously taken the comments made by Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao.Earlier, the minister and other YSRCP leaders have rudely talked about the SEC over his decision to conduct gram panchayat polls in February.
The sources say Nimmagadda has taken the issue to Governor Viswabhusan Harichandan in person and very soon he may file a case either in the AP High Court or the Supreme Court.Also, the SEC is collecting necessary evidence that the AP government is not co-operating to proceed with the gram panchayat polls.
The SEC sources say the state government not even co-operated for a video conference meet with the collectors as Jagan-led government hasn’t permitted it.
