AP High court fires on YCP govt

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has objected to the mention of AP Governor Vishwabushan Harichandans name in the agreements made by the government to get a loan through AP State Development.

The Andhra Pradesh High Court was outraged at the agreement made by the AP state government allowing the banks to issue notices to the governor if govt did not repay their loans on time.

The High Court was outraged at the state government for how it would call off the sovereignty of the governor.However, the next hearing was adjourned to October 21.The bench comprising Chief Justice Arupkumar Goswami and Justice N Jayasuriya heard the arguments.TDP MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishnababus petition seeking repeal of Section 12 (1) (4) (5) of the APSDC Act, which allows state government revenue to be transferred directly to the APSDC without depositing it in the cumulative fund.

Dushyanth Dave held arguments on behalf of the AP state government.Claiming that the petitioner was a TDP MLA, Dave asked the court to dismiss the petition filed on political grounds.

Dave asked the court to give them time to file a counterclaim and not to issue any interim orders until then.
