AP govt is planning to develop infra in fishing and agriculture sectors

Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has directed the authorities to formulate a plan for the development of Visakhapatnam and Kakinada fishing harbours.

Recently, at his camp office, he conducted a review meeting n infrastructure development projects in agriculture, agricultural allied marketing, Andhra Pradesh Dairy Development Cooperative Federation, Ministry of Fisheries, Food Processing Society, and Animal Husbandry.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Jagan said, "All the projects should be completed within the stipulated time." The authorities have been directed to ensure effective coordination between the village secretariats and RBKs.

"The progress of works should be monitored from time to time and a review meeting should be arranged every 15 days.It should be reviewed every Sunday at the level of officers, ”he said.

The CM directed to set up a fish landing centre at Kottapatnam in the Prakasam district.In addition to this, he said that the development of Kakinada Fishing Harbor should be in full swing.

He said special attention should be paid to the development of Visakhapatnam Fishing Harbor.Jagan said, "Amul milk collection will also start in West Godavari district from the 4th of this month.As a result, women farmers in the state will get an additional income of Rs 3.91 crore.".
