Amaravathi IRR case : CID files memo in ACB Court adds four accused

The Andhra Pradesh CID has filed another petition in the Vijayawada ACB court seeking an inclusion of four more individuals, namely former minister Narayana Sathimana Ramadevi, Pramila, Avula Manishankar, and Ravuri Sambasiva Rao, as accused in the case.

The CID is taking further action to investigate and gather evidence related to the Amaravati capital Inner Ring Road (IRR) case.

The ACB court likely to take up the hearing on the PT warrant in the IRR case against Naidu after delivering the verdict on the custody and bail petition in the Skill development case.CID which is probing the irregularities committed to make changes to the alignment of Amaravati capital IRR, declared former chief minister and TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh as Accused No 14 (A14) in the case.

It filed a memo to this effect in the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Court in Vijayawada on Tuesday, 26 September.The CID alleged that Lokesh played a crucial role in trying to make changes to the alignment of the inner ring road to benefit certain people.

On the other hand, the hearing on the quash petition filed by Chandrababu Naidu in AP Skill Development case is underway in the Supreme Court.
