Alyssa Healy beats MS Dhoni’s record in T20s

Men’s Cricket or Women’s cricket, Australia Wicket-Keeper Alyssa Healy is regarded as one of the best in the world cricket.

Similar to Adam Gilchrist in men’s cricket, Alyssa is an effective batswoman at the top of Australia women Cricket team.Recently, against New Zealand, the agile wicket-keeper has surpassed Dhoni who has a record for most dismissals in T20s.

Healy, who is the wife of Australian cricketer Mitchell Starc, has beaten Dhoni with 92 dismissals in T20Is.Healy has 42 catches and 50 stumpings in her 114 matches, while Indian former skipper cum wicket-keeper ended his career on 57 catches & 34 stumpings totalling to 91 dismissals.

Right now, no other wicket-keeper is very close to Healy’s record.The only next two-woman wicket-keepers before Healy are Englands Sarah Taylor with 74 dismissals and Indias Taniya Bhatia with 67 dismissals.

However, Tania seems a strong contender to reach Healy’s record as she has just played 50 matches till now.Earlier, Australia defeated New Zealand by 17 runs with the brilliant performances from Ashleigh Gardner and Megan Schutt in the first T20I of the three-match series.
