Renu Desai and Sri Divya are concerned that this project could harm marine life and disrupt the natural ecosystem. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) invited bids to build the Aqua Marine Park at EcoHill Park, costing around 300 crore rupees.

The proposed Aqua Marine Park is intended to be the largest aquarium in India, spanning an area of 2,50,000 square feet within Kothwalguda’s eco-park.It is designed to accommodate around 2,500 people.

However, many environmentalists, including Renu Desai and Sri Divya, have raised objections to the project. They highlight the excessive water consumption of the aquarium and tunnel tank.

The concerns about the potential negative impact on the environment and local fauna have led to opposition against the project.

Joining the cause against the Aqua Marine Park are filmmaker Sashi Kiran Tikka and environmentalists.

The Telangana High Court has requested a response from HMDA regarding the petition.Meanwhile, Renu Desai is set to make her return to Telugu cinema with an upcoming pan-India movie titled “Tiger Nageswara Rao,” starring Ravi Teja.

The film is written and directed by Vamsee, and it will also mark the debut of Nupur Sanon, the sister of actress Kriti Sanon.
