Chennai 7th September : Ace director Shankar who is currently in the process of directing Kamal Haasan’s “Indian 2” and Telugu actor Ram Charan’s #RC15, has revealed that Kamal Haasan will resume shooting for ‘Indian 2’ beginning the third week of September.The legendary director, who took part in the trailer and audio release of director Mani Ratnam’s awaited masterpiece “Ponniyin Selvan1”, was asked to give an update on the movie with Kamal Haasan by anchor.
The director responded, “We completed one schedule just yesterday (Monday).One of them is completed.The next one will begin in the third week of this month with Kamal Haasan.”
Applauding Mani Ratnam for his ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, Shankar praised the ace director and said he was the country’s first pan-Indian director.
“As as I can tell, Mani Ratnam is India’s first pan-Indian director.The films of his ‘Roja’ as well as Bombay’ were viewed by audiences across the country because of his direction, style , and content.Combine that with A.R.Rahman’s music, and it binds the entire nation together.We are taking the pan-India route first created by these two people.”
