Los Angeles, Sep 7 : A wildfire in Southern California that killed two people and injured another has grown to over 2400 acres (9.71 square kilometers) within 24 hours of the morning of Tuesday, according to authorities.
The Fairview fire began to spread on Monday afternoon in Hemet, a Hemet city of Hemet in Riverside County amid a scorching heat wave that’s ravaged Southern California for days.It was just 5 percent contained as of date, and the evacuation notice and warning are in the place, Xinhua news agency reported with reference to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The department reported that at least seven structures were destroyed and a number more damaged.officials estimate that thousands of structures in the area are still in danger due to the fire.
