“Ayan was dreaming of creating a world has never been experienced before. It was the dazzling world of astras we have learned from our past and our puranas” Rajamouli said.

“As kids, we were taught about these astras, but have never seen their beauty,” the ace director stated.

“That is exactly what Ayan has imagined. It’s been a long road since 2014.He was ably assisted by Karan Johar, Ranbir, Alia, Nasser and Amit sir.Thank you for letting me be an integral part of this incredible adventure,” he added.

In explaining why he loved ‘Brahmastra’ so very much, Rajamouli said, “Creating the universe which Ayan has created isn’t simple.

Ayan is a genius who has created an ability that has its limitations. He gave the power to create a larger villain, and also an opportunity for the fight for good against evil. It’s not the fairy story. It’s commercial ways of telling the tale of astras. This is the thing I like about “Brahmastra”.”

In his explanation of the reason he was awed by the film the director said, “Ayan made sure that among all the astras including ‘Vanara Astra “Agniastra,” “Jalastra and ‘Brahmastra’love is the most powerful.Instead of just stating the truth in the dialogues, he made sure that his message was heard.Love will triumph over everything.”

Telugu star Nagarjuna as well as Ranbir Kapoor were among the guests who took part of the question-and-answer session which followed the speeches.
