New Delhi, Aug 20 : One of the suspects of the accused in the CBI FIR filed in connection with the alleged violations in Delhi the excise policy of the government is believed to be connected to a TV channel.
According to the sources the accused is No.15 Arjun Pandey who is reported to work for an TV Channel, was allegedly involved with the other accused in actively managing and transferring the unjust benefits in the form of cash from liquor licensees to accused public employees.

The CBI has not made any comments on the matter and it isn’t yet clear if the channel has any part in any way in this.

Some posts that circulated on social media claimed the channel’s head is linked with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

When contacted, CBI officials did not respond to the issue.

In its FIR in its FIR, the CBI has identified Delhi’s deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia as the No.one suspect in the matter.The FIR has been filed in accordance with Sections 120-B (criminal conspiracy) and 477-A (falsification of accounts) of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusations against Sisodia who’s home and office were searched by the CBI on Friday, is that business owners who deal in liquor were provided with an exemption of 30 crore rupees, and license holders were allegedly granted extensions in accordance with their own preferences.

It was also claimed that the excise policy rules were made in contradiction of the rules of excise.
