Stephen King calls Donald Trump “horrible president” and “horrible individual’

Los Angeles, Aug 15 : The legendary writer Stephen King doesn’t like former US President Donald Trump and he is very open about it, according to Variety.
The author used phrases such as “horrible president”, “horrible person” and “sociopath” to describe the former U.S.President, whose administration in February 2020 signed an agreement to withdraw with the Taliban which exempted the Afghan government, released thousands of imprisoned Taliban soldiers, and set an exact date for the withdrawal.

In an interview with the Sunday Times in which he was in conversation with the host of ‘Pointless’ Richard Osman, King said that he was quoted in Variety: “I happen to believe that Trump was a terrible President and is a terrible person.”

“I believe he was actually involved in illegal activities and, in all likelihood I believed that he was a psychopath that tried to undermine American democracy, not out of any political inclination of his own, but simply because he did not want to admit that he was a loser.”

According to Variety in response to questions about the growing influence of fascism in the U.S., King said: “There is a strong right section and a political right wing in America and they have a huge voice in certain of the mainstream media.They’re not fascists, but they’re hard right-wingers.”

“They’re definitely climate change denialists which is an issue.”

A single of the most prolific writers on the globe, King has published 64 novels starting with “Carrie” in 1974.They have been sold to more than 350 million readers in fifty years.The 65th novel of his, ‘Fairy Tale will be released in September.
