Mumbai 9 August : Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will launch an expansion of his mini-cabinet forty days after he was a two-man government together with Bharatiya Jaata Party’s Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai on Tuesday.The Leader of the Nationalist Congress Party of Opposition stated that the Cabinet expansion would be limited in size to allow for the smooth operation of the coming Legislature Session.
“Fadnavis reached me via phone to inform me me and also invited me to the swearing in ceremony.I will be present,” Pawar told mediapersons.
According to reports there are around 12 MLAs from the Shinde Group and BJP are scheduled to join the Cabinet team that is being added by the CM.
The move is a result of pressures from the allies of the ruling coalition as well as pinpricks from Opposition NCP, Congress, Shiv Sena, and others.
