Telangana State Medical Health officials have identified three new omicron cases in Hyderabad.Authorities identified one of them has Kenya citizenship and the other has Somalia citizenship.Both are from non-risk countries.
The 24-year-old victim from Kenya is being treated in Gachibowli TIMS hospital, and she is currently under medical supervision.
The Omicron variant is also identified in the boy from Somalia, but his whereabouts are unknown.Medical staff are searching for him.Both of them are from the same country.
No one in the state was infected with the corona.
There are currently two active Omicron cases in Telangana.The Director of Telangana Medical Health confirmed this.
Against this backdrop, the government has alerted the medical officers of all the districts.They have moved the people who tested Covid positive to isolation.
57 Omicron cases were detected in six states of India.Including 3 cases registered in Telangana today, currently, there are 60 active Omicron cases in the country.
Also, one Omicron case has been registered in Andhra Pradesh three days ago.People are advised by the health experts and officials to remain vigilant and abide by the Covid protocols.
