Srinagar terrorist attack: 2 officers killed; 12 others injured (Lead).

Srinagar : Two Jammu and Kashmir Police officers were shot dead and twelve others injured by terrorists who attacked a bus carrying police on Monday night.

Police saidAccording to police sources, the incident occurred in the Pantha Chowk region on the outskirts Srinagar.

Two police officers were shot dead and twelve others were injured during this attack.All of the wounded have been transferred to hospitals.

According to a source, the area was cordoned off.The bus carried personnel from Jammu and Kashmir Armed Polices 9th Battalion.This is a major terrorist attack on the security forces in recent days and it has taken place in an area where many camps of the security forces are situated.
