Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear stated that there were approximately 110 people inside the factory (candle factory), at the time the tornado struck it.

We believe this will lead to the death of more than 50 Kentuckians, and that it could also result in 70-100 Kentuckians dying.

Beshear declared an emergency in the region.

Also, tornadoes struck a Arkansas nursing home and tore off the roof of an Amazon warehouse located in Illinois.This caused certain deaths.

Another nursing home and a fire station in Trumann of Tennessee also caused substantial damage.

It was the worst tornado that touched down in Arkansas and stayed on the ground for about 223 miles into Kentucky, and most likely the longest reported tornado in history, local media reported.
