New Delhi, Nov 30, : Parag, the new CEO of Twitter with Indian origin, was trolling on Tuesday for a racist tweet he posted 11 years ago.Agrawal, who was not even an employee at Twitter in 2010, quoted a comedian mocking racism in America.
Agrawal stated in a tweet on October 26, 2010, “If they aren’t gonna make a distinction among Muslims and extremists then why should I distinguish zwischen white people and racists?”
This was the question that Republican Ken Buck, who represents Colorado’s Fourth Congressional District, asked.He wanted to know how users could trust Twitter’s new CEO to treat everyone equally.
Agrawal quickly clarified his comments to a user.”I was quoting Asif Madvi from The Daily Show.He posted that the article he was reading seemed too deep for me at the moment.
