The political situation in AP has changed.The situation was different from 2019 elections.
Jagan was favored in the form of deep-seated popular discontent over the Telugu Desam Party, which was in power before 2019.With 175 constituencies in the state, the YCP came to power with 150 seats.
TDP is limited to just 23 seats.

The YCP will not be in 2024 as it was in 2019.
No matter how many welfare schemes Jagan implements, opposition to the government will remain strong.
With this, in the 2024 elections, Jagan is more likely to look at the candidates in the respective constituencies and cast his vote than his popularity.Jagan also noted this.
That is why in the 2014 elections, Jagan came to the view that the result would be positive if the sitting MLAs were reduced to half and the well-known local candidates were fielded as YCP candidates in their seats.
In addition to this, YCP political strategist Prashant Kishore’s team is still assessing the party situation in the AP constituency-wise and reporting to Jagan from time to time.
Jagan noted that no matter how many government schemes and large-scale welfare schemes are being provided to the people, the problems in the constituency locally and the development that has taken place will all have an impact during the elections.
