New Delhi, November 16, : , The Supreme Court rejected Tuesday’s petitions challenging the Punjab and Haryana High Court Order, which confirmed Dinkar Gupta’s appointment as Punjab Director General Police.A bench comprising Justices L.Nageswara Rao, Sanjiv Khanna and B.R.The bench was composed of Justices L.Nageswara Rao and Sanjiv Khanna, as well as B.R.Gavai dismissed the petitions filed by IPS officers Siddharth Chattopadhyay and Mohammad Mustafa, challenging February 7, 2019, order appointing Gupta as the Punjab DGP.Gavai rejected the petitions of IPS officers Siddharth Chakotpadhyay, Mohammad Mustafa and B.R.
The top court had reserved the order in the matter in September this year.In September last year, the top court reserved an order regarding the case.
