The AP government shortened the curfew timings in the state as the corona severity is declining in AP.But, the AP government is working on the groundwork and is making everything ready for the third wave of coronavirus, if it occurs.
As the rapid tests failed to accurately detect the coronavirus in the victim and there are many cases that corona victims died due to the inaccurate result in the rapid tests, the AP government decided to do only the RTPCR test instead of the rapid test.
Previously, the state government has put more emphasis on rapid tests, but now, it has changed its decision.
Now the government has decided to stop rapid tests and do only RTPCR tests.The CM said there would be reduced inflow in the hospitals as the number of corona cases is declining at present.
For this, CM Jagan directed the officers to constantly monitor the performance of the staff in the respective network hospitals as well as the supply of quality meals, sanitation, infrastructure, oxygen and medicines.
Currently, Covid services are currently available at 322 hospitals in the state.
Of the 4,592 ICU beds, 3,196 beds are available.Of the 19,258 oxygen beds, 15,309 beds were available.
